A real crappy place to work....

Pros

The salaries can be competitive and some employees have the option to work from home. ACI also offers tuition reimbursement should you choose to pursue certifications.

Cons

Software is often deployed without proper testing which causes laptops across the company to crash and face multiple performance issues which never get fully resolved. This has a negative effect on productivity. Poor work/life balance. Every department is understaffed and overworked. ACI is constantly acquiring new companies without gaining an understanding or appreciation for what they do. They don't bother to fully integrate said companies into the fold before purchasing another organization. This leaves employees feeling demoralized and insignificant. Senior management purposely overlooks employee concerns.

Pros

great coffee. They also have a few people their that are doing the majority of the work.

Cons

I'm not sure where to start. Don't get the credit card in your name. If you leave they won't reimburse you. The *offshore* presence is really integrated. Your supervisor could be in India. Management is horrific across the board. They are stuck the 1950. They believe if you aren't at you desk then you aren't working. As a senior level computer guy I can tell you their environments are as dysfunctional as I've ever seen. The have low functioning tech in every LOB. The pay was mediocre.

Pros

Benefits are average and coworkers are a joy to work with.

Cons

Management has lost all the good talent at the Norcross office and can no longer recruit the talent they need so hiring is now being done in Limerick. There's a large gap in leadership and direction since our VP has never worked in a hosted environment. Decisions aren't being made and deadlines are being missed.
