I left feeling ambivalent about my time with ACI.
The senior leaders paid a lot of lip service to change and about supporting good ideas but it was all hallow. Nothing changed. They'd send you back endlessly to justify change initiatives and provide POC's. Approve everything and then when you had a project almost complete they'd swoop in and send you back to the drawing board. Only when they could find a way to claim credit for something would it finally get implemented if ever.
The policy of triaging every tiny issue destroys productivity. Teams are drug onto calls at any hour of the day or night, brow beaten and at times virtually interrogated publically by an overzealous leader, never given a moment to think and yelled at by multiple people to provide updates every 10 seconds. Fun times.
Also morning calls to eat up another 2 hours a day of productivity going over EVERY single ticket in detail and being berated publically again if someone disagreed with your fix.
They had a couple of bad apples at the top that control the department with fear tactics and they actually like berating people publically on triage calls even when there was no reason for them to be on the call.
Was it the worst company? No. It just seemed to be wasted energy on old style thinking and ways of doing things and not much progress.
