Pros

The Security team is full of amazing people who are respectful and will treat you like a good friend.

Cons

Horrible pay Lied about job responsibilities This is not a security job it’s customer service No discussion about pay raise No progression for security employees They treat office staff amazing, security is considered 2nd class citizens Horrible dealers and truckers come in and you have to cater to them because of company policy ONLY WORK HERE IF YOU REALLY NEED A JOB, IT IS BACK BREAKING, Demoralizing, and will give stress you mentally and physically.

Pros

- Descent pay - A few nice individuals - Free water (as long as it's available ) - Amazing office (for 1950s that is)

Cons

- old school approach (think 1980s) - very keen on titles (no respect unless you are a manager and above) - extreme level of micromanagement - no leadership at all, most are occupied to make them self look better - stealing other ideas (management and non-management) is a big thing - employees are kept in the dark, and a lot of lies on what's actually the company/project is all about

Pros

Decent benefits and RRSP options Different areas/departments you could work in Some of the people are good to work with Great if you are looking for part time work if you are a student/stay at home parent/retired Good place to start if you need something to put on your resume. There are usually lots of job openings so its not hard to get in.

Cons

Pay is not great and unless you start right at the bottom there is no way to grow in the company. There are some opportunities to move "up" but most of the time you are just moving sideways into a different department for marginal pay increase if any. Promotions are negligible, you are lucky to get 10% increase for twice the responsibility. The turn over rate is insane. It looks like a big growing company because of all the job opportunities but that's because people don't stick around and eventually you have new people training newer people and every department is struggling because no one knows what they're doing. Head office is a joke. They don't understand anything about how the auction works and they make agreements with the customers that cause unnecessary extra work and stress for everyone. Managers only care about the customer needs and don't care how the work gets done, just that it gets done while they provide little guidance or help and then get on your case about the extra hours they had to pay you for to get it done. Bottom line - Don't stay long.
