-In the middle of no-where - not easily accessible by transit or, depending on where you are commuting from, by car
-Pay is low
-Micromanaged
-Management has unrealistic expectations of what can be done in a day
-Often asked to stop current task to do some other task which causes backup of regular duties
-To add to the last two points above: overtime is not encouraged but when work is not completed there's issues
-Not all managers allow for flexible schedule
-Vacation time can and will be denied if they see fit
-I will repeat micromanaged again to really stress the point of how much micromanaging goes on
-Customers are allowed to treat you horribly and nothing is done about it
-Proper training is not in place - thrown in the deep end and its sink or swim. Co-workers do the best they can to train but then they aren't able to keep up with their work
-Often made to help other departments at the expense of your own work
-There isn't any support from management when there are issues
-It's very much a boys club and favourites are chosen (and definitely don't fall out of favour)
-If you aren't liked or can't pick things up fast enough, fall out of favour, you are gone
-There is no room for growth - lateral moves sometimes happen but moving up is non-existent unless you are a favourite and in the boys club. They often hire outside of the company for those positions
-There aren't any raises or they are inconsequential to the average employee - Bonuses are for management
-Prudent to keep a record of everything (phone calls, emails, meetings) for backup as placing blame for any mistake is swift
-There is no loyalty for long-term loyal employees
