Pros

I think ADESA has a good work to life balance. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and casual. They are working on building a sense of community at the corporate office. Overall good people to work with.

Cons

For entry to mid level employees, pay scale is below market and raises are "cost of living" raises at best. This is despite the company performing very well. All spoils go to upper management in the form of bonuses and stock benefits and share holders through dividends.

Pros

Jobs varied Gained experience Interesting business Health Benefits and 401k

Cons

Low pay with often unreachable sales goals Some interesting people worked there (but a lot of good ones, too) Not much opportunity for growth or advancement, and often each year brought less pay for sales team.

Great until new owners took over.

Pros

Other employees were very enjoyable to work with on a personal level.

Cons

Crazy ammounts of overtime that turned a good annual salary into less than minimum wage if you take in account of hours worked. Most other employees at company would do as little as possible and cause management to schedule them for overtime. Company recruits temporary labor force who majority of them look like they are on many different types of drugs.
