Pros

The time off they offer is by far the best I have seen.

Cons

The amount of work and stress that's levied on the people needs to addressed.

Pros

They offer outstanding benefits and many positions within company.

Cons

The customer's money is number one period. Their culture reference strong teamwork and chances for excelling. This is merely a corporate tactic for recruiting. Once employed you become a cog in the machine. Fraternity mentality, either your in or your replaceable. They will break your will. High turnover rate

Pros

There’s people of all ages and backgrounds. The work is not complicated.

Cons

Obvious favoritism, obvious butt kissing, and obviously corrupt. There’s no way everyone on the lot can see the obvious problems (people joy riding, couples only working with each other, etc) and do nothing. From the minute I walked into Adesa I was determined to learn anything I needed to to move up. I had a manger talking about relocating and moving up just for it to be complete lies. I shared my personal situation and why this job meant so much to me but regardless of how much work you put into this company they don’t care. If someone wants you out of there you’re basically gone. People have relationships that can’t be broken and the job becomes more about who likes you than the work you put into the company. I was laid off based of the word of one man they did not like me, I called my boss and he said “well so and so has a relationship with so and so, and she doesn’t listen to me when I tell her he’s a liar who need to be gone.” How do you have van driver who’s been there less than two months and who’s blatantly abusing their friendship with a manger overriding a lot specialist who’s been there and who says this guys intentions are ALL WRONG?! I felt me being a “temp” hindered me, even though I had been there longer than some, I was staying later than most, and I actually CARED about this company.
