      Benefits no good. No sick time. “Leaders” are extremely unqualified. Nepotism. Diversity and messy politics.

      Flexible and good for starting out, lower pay than average

      Pros

      I enjoy the people I work with and the flexibility to borrow ahead on PTO. It's great that people are shown different roles and trained is various positions making work flow fluid day to day. It's a good foot in the door for someone new to learn how things work.

      Cons

      Pay is based on the private practice prior to acquisition as well as rhe general range for other practices in the company in the area. This means it's typically lower than similarly sized private practices, even with sales. In addition, we have to use VSP labs and have had a lot of trouble lately with orders being restarted because of failed quality checks, patient owned frames being damaged, and or jobs being incomplete or of poor quality when recieved. There are also blackout periods where you cannot take time off such as round holidays (Mid December through New Years) and the month of March because of spring break.

      Great benefits overshadowed by poor management and high turnover

      Cons

      They preach people first but don’t care about their employee. High turn over. Upper management is disconnected from the people working the locations. Worse company I worked for
