      Management Pays Interns to Write Good Reviews

      Pros

      Junior staff works hard and plays hard and shares a mutual bond for hating the senior staff.

      Cons

      CEO is down right scum and treats people like dirt. Other senior staff takes their cue from him. You don't get any real experience as they don't let junior people in meetings. They have a frat culture with a beer tap in the office and the treatment of women is poor.

      Every Single Analyst Cannot Wait to Leave

      Pros

      Get to work directly with management teams of client companies Junior team (analysts, PMs, BDAs) are a lot of fun -- but given high turnover this could change anytime A lot of responsibility. Analysts & PMs lead the deals and are responsible for everything Few of the partners are really great and others are really terrible to work with

      Cons

      Every single analyst cannot wait to leave PMs and Analysts do all of the work - even have partners' email passwords so they can send emails from them to literally do their job for them Mandatory weekend hours are absurd - need to submit when you are going to be in the office on Thursdays and email the whole firm if you need to adjust -- most banks are encouraging analysts to stay out of the office on weekends but AGC forces them to work on weekends (even associates, VPs and Principals have mandatory weekend hours!) Very high turnover (including partners)

      Pros

      - Learned how to persevere through an extremely toxic environment - After working with such inappropriate and awful management I am pretty sure I will be able to deal with anything out there - Gained hours of hard work experience - Many of the employees at AGC are great, but they don't stay or enjoy their time they have there

      Cons

      - Long, endless hours of work that don't result in any decent career advancement or salary - Horrible CEO that is constantly degrading everybody around him and can't do anything on his own - Turnover is the highest I have ever seen, can't keep anybody longer than 6 months - Crappy, unimpressive work
