Pros

AGC Partners is an excellent place for recent college graduates and seasoned bankers alike to hone in on their investment banking skills. With a fast-paced, can-do mindset, and daily exposure to senior members of the team, AGC positions their employees to rapidly develop and launch pad their career. AGC is a very challenging company due to the pace and ingenuity of the team, which is awesome. If you apply yourself and work hard each day, you’ll go somewhere. I interned at the firm my junior summer of college and immediately knew this was the place for me. Fast forward nearly two years, and I certainly believe AGC has better positioned me for success than any other firm. It’s also given me the for upward career development within the firm. AGC and the management team recognize diligent, hard-working individuals and reward them accordingly. Nearly one year into my tenure and I have received handsome bonuses as well as a timely promotion within the team. If you are looking for a place that will challenge you daily, but have you leaving the office feeling rewarded, then look no further than AGC Partners. The company culture is unmatched and promotes strong trust-based relationships between junior and senior members of the team.

Cons

With a high volume approach, you must have the ability to multi-task and stay focused.

Pros

As a current employee of AGC, my experience has been invaluable in both my professional and personal development as a recent graduate. Even as an employee that is not on the banking team, I am given constant exposure to client interaction and opportunity to immerse myself further in all aspects of the industry. An Operations Associate at AGC is an extremely multi-faceted role, which guarantees that no day will be the same. Nine months in, my responsibilities ebb and flow between marketing, conferences, research, recruiting, office administration, events, and direct work with the CEO on a daily basis. Junior team members are given a great deal of responsibility, which is rare in an entry level position at any other firm. While this level of trust may be daunting to some, hard work is noticed and rewarded, and there have been opportunities on numerous occasions to become more involved in other departments if desired. Arguably the best part of working at AGC has been how welcoming the entire team is. I have made close connections with coworkers at all levels and departments, which is a valued asset given the majority of the world is remote. AGC is exceptionally dedicated to ensuring that the office culture is upbeat and tightknit, with weekly outings to bars and a considerable amount of comradery while still being a fast paced environment.

Cons

Responsibilities across multiple departments can make prioritization difficult at times, but once you are able to find a balance it is invaluable to your professional development.

Pros

In my 8+ years of working at AGC, I have always felt like a valued team member and people, whether they be Management, Partners, or members of the Ops and Banking team are there to support me and help me grow. Joining the firm as a recent college graduate, this was great in fostering my development and helped put me in a position to and build my skill base. By far, the part that I have enjoyed most about my time at AGC is the people. From our CEO to our Interns, everyone is a connected member of the team and a great teammate that is fun to work with. I have developed many close bonds with my co-workers, which has helped my development within the firm and allowed me get to a point in my career I couldn’t imagine I would be when I started. Supportive management team, flexible work arrangements, fun working environment, great growth potential, and supportive culture and overall I love the people I work with.

Cons

The culture is very fast paced. You may need to work weekends and nights.
