AGC givse you exposure, responsibility, and a solid fundamental understanding of investment banking and changing technology markets as a junior analyst as compared to any bulge-bracket experience.

Cons

Limiting exit opportunities because not many people know about AGC Partners. Also, salary not as attractive as bulge bracket setting

AGC Partners allows you to work closely with industry experts, and quite literally learn from the best. There is a great sense of team at the company that makes coming in everyday a pleasure!

Cons

The company is very close knit, and has a strong team sense. If you can't be part of a team or don't work well with others, then you may not fit in.

Pros

Working at a leading boutique firm gives partner-level access and excellent transaction experience for an entry-level analyst. AGC has a great team & culture - I chose to work there because it was a place where the team works together, and does not try to one up each other. There were always associates, other analysts, or partners to explain concepts and work through problems. AGC has a work hard & play hard atmosphere that is pretty well balanced for and M&A bank. Great people made the long hours more bearable.

Cons

Strenuous, long hours, but typical of any i-bank. Compensation may be below market of larger banks but the deal experience and career opportunities might outweigh it.
