Pros
Honestly, there’s nothing positive about working here. The environment is completely toxic.
Cons
Working at AGC was one of the worst career moves I ever made. The environment was a complete nightmare. Their systems are extremely outdated—they still rely on paper and manually create commercial documents for international business, which is both unprofessional and inefficient. The workplace culture is toxic and abusive. The supply chain and logistics team, dominated by toxic male employees, frequently yell at colleagues from other departments, especially the customer service team. The supply chain director, a Canadian man, is unreasonable and openly protects male employees who display misogynistic and ageist behavior toward female coworkers. The customer service manager did nothing to support her team before retiring, allowing this toxic culture to continue unchecked. Micromanagement is extreme, and there is absolutely no flexibility—working from home is never an option, even on snow days when safety is a concern. In just six months, they fired two talented customer service reps, one person resigned, and those who remain are constantly threatened with unfair performance reviews. Avoid working here unless you have no other choice.
