      Pros

      Growing company. If you work hard and prove yourself, advancement opportunities are available. As long as you're willing to raise your hand and show an initiative, the company is willing to invest in training and development opportunities.

      Cons

      There can be growing pains associated with acquisitions.

      Pros

      I can only speak to the MCT División for Ametek and I can guarantee you that if you work hard and seek opportunity you will move up and your work will be noticed. I spent 6 years here and I never imagine I would grow this fast within a company. Ametek is constantly acquiring new companies and the opportunity to grow and move within the company is high. Pros: -Caring people/Professional -Good Work/Life Balance -Competitive Pay -Clear Goads and Guidance

      Cons

      These cons relate to finance during acquisition and note that it's temporary. After the company gets used to how AMETEK works it gets a LOT easier. With that said overtime during month end close, tight deadlines and October is a rough month with closing Q3, Physical inventory and Budgets starting. Must publicly traded companies have the same routine and if you're in finance this isn't anything new. Help is provided from other BU's since they are doing the same thing so you won't feel lost.

      Pros

      Know your numbers, hit your forecast, manage your business well and nobody will interfere. If you have questions or need help with something, it is considered a positive thing to reach out for support. AMETEK rewards performance and recognizes the individual. There are good opportunities for personal growth, if you show willingness to work hard and can deliver the agreed upon results. The key for me is that we have a lot of fun while doing it.

      Cons

      If you like high pace and are good at what you are doing, there are not really any cons.
