Pros

Great entry level job. They will hire you with no experience in the field. You will get experience with several different clients and engagements rather quickly.

Cons

The company puts on a front that makes them seem to care about their employees, when really the analysts are very disposable. As mentioned in other reviews, they sometimes mass fire and mass hire when client obligations fall through. In my experience, the company has claimed several times that transparency is their policy, when that is not the case. Your experience with the company hinges on what project you are put on. Client to client differences aside, there is a large gap between good managers and bad managers. Some seem to have no leadership experience whatsoever and were thrown into the job and it shows. Others are open and helpful and organized. It’s just luck of the draw. Upward movement in the company seems to depend on whether or not you are married to the job. Dedication/hard work at this company means long nights and weekends with no extra pay and a salary that doesn’t measure up to industry standards.

Pros

This is an experience building position that gives you the opportunity to work different fields. KYC, sanctions, EDD, CIP, and others. It’s versatile and very educational.

Cons

I cannot begin to express how sick this company made me. I’ve busted my read working here for the last year. I was threatened and given unreasonable expectations by a client and and their customers and AMLRS just basically said “oh well” and I had to deal with it. I need therapy after that particular project. Today, I gave my 2 weeks notice because I accepted another position that didn’t start until the end of the month. My manager called me to say that they reject my last day being the 15th and my last day will be today without negotiation. Mind you, I have a family, a house, and my daughters tuition. I was effectively screwed out of 2 weeks pay because of “resources”. This company needs so much work it’s unreal. I cannot believe after all of the work and dedication I’ve given to my position that I’m not given any consideration. The pay is low for the position and workload. It’s just not worth it.
