Pros

Supportive and friendly co workers. Weekly raffles.

Cons

There were numerous aspects why I decided to leave AML Rightsource, however if I would’ve known the two most significant reasons before I applied I never would have accepted the job. 1) Management recommended and often required analysts to breach signed contracts with nearly every client. For instance, when the company would put new employees on a project they would have us use other people’s credentials in order to avoid a delay in production. Numerous times I was told or witnessed other employees strictly be told if questioned by a client to lie about their identity or role on a project. On one occasion a new employee was using someone else’s credentials and emailed a client’s IT support with their email address. The client realized that someone was utilizing incorrect credentials. This resulted in a new company wide policy and numerous stern emails that restricted analysts from contacting a client without managements approval to avoid another “error”. 2) On another occasion, the CEO arrived at our office and called an urgent meeting. Our entire office (around 150 people) crammed into a section of the building while the CEO announced that he had just fired 25 people company wide. He noted that these individuals were let go due to their struggles to consistently reach production quotas. He also mentioned that the company had lost significant funding from its largest client. After his announcement a concerned employee asked if the production based cuts could occur again. In which he responded he hoped they wouldn’t, but he couldn’t be positive. Meanwhile he attempted to save face by suggesting the company was in the best position it had ever been in and that we were fortunate to work there.

Pros

Co-workers are great people. Managers are very fair, and will always note your production and achievements, or shortcomings (if necessary). After gaining experience, work can be very interesting, Diverse projects, often work on multiple projects at once

Cons

Pay is below industry standard. Near deadlines, hours can be long. Tedious, and sometimes repetitive work.

Pros

The pay is reasonable for the position and assuming you maintain adequate production throughout the year you are eligible for quarterly bonuses.

Cons

This position is somewhat dehumanizing. You are treated like a number and the quality of your work is meaningless as the only thing that matters is pumping out as many cases as you can during the day. It is also very difficult to feel respected or trusted in any capacity here as only certain projects allow you to actually submit your own work, as QC will make unnecessary edits to innocuous items such as word choice or sentence structure to remove personality from your narratives and create a cookie cutter paper that you are required to blindly submit with your name on.
