Pros

The cafe, and only the cafe.

Cons

This company wastes more time and resources than it does work. This place is heavily female, extremely catty, and driven primarily by emotion as opposed to logic and reason. Their "commission" structure, if you can even call it that, was a very poorly constructed. It was very difficult to actually hit any sort of goal that would bring home anything other than peanuts.

Pros

I am no longer with the company.

Cons

If I could give this company a zero star, I would have. Do not work for this company, they don't care about your well-being or the quality of your service, all they care is volume and the lighting in front of the camera. There's absolutely no quality control. They lie about giving you a raise, call is back to back, up to 40 calls in the span of 7.5 hours shift. I feel bad for the patients/providers the most because when an interpreter picks up that many calls, he/she simply cannot ensure proper and quality interpretation, and in a dire medical situation, it can have dire consequences. I have been told by patients over and over again, their last interpreter would misinterpret, or leave things out, or didn't speak clearly. And if I was a medical organization and/or providers, I would absolutely NOT contract with this company, you are better off hiring an interpreter on your own for your own organization. They don't respect their interpreters and many have quit or been dismissed for speaking up, their staff turn-around is astounding. DO NOT WORK OR CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. Retaliatory, bullying, and total disregard for the interpreters, patients and providers. Complete mismanagement, most lower rung managers have no management degree and they abuse their power. The company culture is greed, greed. They pay their interpreters salary that is impossible to subsist on. They play favorites and pay the obedient and quiet interpreters a higher salary and the ones who speak up either get dismissed or a much lower salary. An 8 hours shift gives you 30 to 40 calls, a 30 minute unpaid lunch, a 15 minute break. They run you like a robot or a slave.

Pros

-Good health insurance -Pancakes on Fridays -Great at welcoming new people (this is also because this office a revolving door and they get tons of practice)

Cons

Paid as low as $18.00/hr for being a Regional Account Manager in charge of over 4,000 hospital contract and relationships with hospital networks. The commission even while hitting goal is terrible. Also, you can only make a deal when someone gets sick, dies, or goes on FMLA but you still have a weekly quota. You're told it's just the business of temporary staffing. They pay recruiters even less which means they are getting low-quality recruiters who fail to build relationships with new candidates. We constantly get candidates lost to competitors simply because their recruiter build better relationships with them up front. This means I can't fill my hospital's opening because our candidates don't trust our recruiters. Which means we lose a lot of deals. This hurts your commission significantly.
