Pros

Lots and lots of experience. The work is hard, but if you want to learn… they’ll teach you! You won’t be compensated with money… and if you stay more than 3 years you’re hurting your future… but take that experience.. head down. Work hard then get your 70% raise elsewhere.

Cons

Senior management will go so far as to gaslight you to keep you one position if you’re making them money and they don’t have to pay you much. The experience or credentials you earn while on the job will not get you promoted or any raises. It will get you bigger projects, longer hours, and more smoke up uour butt from Sr leadership. I am grateful for my experience. It was an investment for me.

Pros

Remarkable and hard working team led by truly fantastic Supervisors, Managers, and Directors. People are passionate and this team has what it takes to succeed. Always opportunities to learn and grow. Remote work (during the Pandemic)

Cons

The company is tone deaf..... especially C-Suite leaders. We are trying our best throughout the past two years in a pandemic and yet, we have little to zero support from executive leaders. They continue to put us and other teams in a position where we are overworked, underpaid (tired of hearing they are looking at comp...) and continue to push unrealistic expectations on the Credentialing team with no new staff. Trust and Respect are no longer core values and the finger pointing is real with other departments. We continue to hear this is a "credentialing problem"…. After record volume, record # of projects resulting in OT and a work life balance that is non-existent, people have broken down….. and yet, here comes a new record breaking Project that is looking like it will be a disaster because of Credentialing and the unrealistic expectations of the team and their leaders. AMN is breaking their people and yet we hear nothing but the typical response of we appreciate you…

Pros

Sadly the highlights were staff originated; meaning that the staff created, cultivated and produced them. Pot lucks, friday morning staff dance for a few minutes, etc. The company provided perks were largely non existent.

Cons

SALES MANAGERS. Not all of them, but when your sales manager is a micromanager who treats you like a toddler, talks about your coworkers with you, tells the same complimentary lies to everyone (You are the best one here! You are SOOOOO talented!), and generally just sucks, okay it is just this one sales manager. But imagine working in an office with an open floor plan so you can observe other teams having five minute meetings when yours last thirty, or having your manager tap their watch when you walk in five minutes late while other teams are treated like adults........
