      EMT FTO makes the same as the person you're training

      Pros

      Emergency responder experience, variety of patients, lots of shootings and traumas.

      Cons

      Local fire departments are jerks, even if you have more experience than them. Pay increases are a joke, an FTO gets $300/trainee, but they make the same amount as you. Education and experience won't get you higher pay.
