Pros

Some of the greatest people I met work/worked there. Good on promises at the start.

Cons

bad on keeping their promises. I worked my but off to show them I deserve the maximum bonus as per the agreement . They gave me lower PMP score and kept my bonus and pay raise for themselves.

Pros

I did not enjoy my time at APL. The only positive I can think of for someone entering an SSR position is that the account manager position is a revolving door, so depending on your timing, you may be lucky to find yourself in a position in Atlanta, New York, Kansas City, Seattle, California or Texas. But don't expect a large salary bump for moving and taking a promotion, company policy is 10% max increase in salary. So your 45,000 SSR position becomes a 50,000 account manager position.

Cons

The company is owned by Singapore, whenever Singapore officials come in, or are about to come into town everything tightens up. The environment in the office is also very corporate. In this particular position, you are somewhat of a minion, and treated as such. Account managers, pricing analysts, equipment analysts, managers, directors all have leverage over you. Also, the company has lost in the hundreds of millions of dollars in recent years, and is contracting. Recently there were large layoffs.
