Thanks for the review. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience working ASC. I'd like to take this time to address two of your comments. Firstly, ASC's management and supervision tries at all times to make employees feel valued and comfortable in their roles. At the same time, we do also hold people accountable, whether in engineering or in the shop. I'm not sure about the incidents which affected you, but if you feel you were incorrectly blamed for something, then I would have hoped you would speak to your manager about this when you were here. Either way, I'm sorry you felt that way. That is certainly not something that is supported at ASC. Lastly, you mention that HR won't acknowledge employment. I'm sorry, but that is incorrect. If you were told that by some other company, then they are not giving you accurate information. In keeping with CA state law, ASC is limited to what information we give to companies. We always provide employment verification, including how long you've worked at ASC. We also provide whether you are "eligible for rehire". If you are leaving voluntarily, the answer is "YES. Eligible for rehire". If you were terminated for cause, we say "NO. Not eligible for rehire". We never provide wage information and also don't go into details about your employment (ie. # of writeups, attendance issues, etc.) Everyone at ASC is free to work here or to find other employment. Fortunately, the vast majority of ASC employees like working here, as reported by our recent company survey (88% believe it's a "Great" or "Good" place to work). I just hope it would have worked out for you. Good luck with your new job.

Thanks for the review. I'm happy that you liked the projects and people you worked with. From what you advised, it certainly appears that you had issues with your manager and other managers at ASC. I'm sorry you felt this way, and would have hoped you would have taken the initiative while at ASC to discuss your issues directly. Knowing first-hand the hard work, knowledge, dedication, and caring that ASC manager's put into their jobs and into their people, I will certainly have to respectfully disagree with your competency argument. The vast majority of our employees and customers know that ASC is a great company and appreciate the differences that make ASC special, such as our strong commitment to employees, Team Values, and world-class products. We see these differences as a huge asset, but there will always be a few employees who never really "buy in". Although we always try to improve and foster the best relationships with our employees, it sometimes just doesn't work out. I hope you are able to find a company that makes you happy and fits your style and expectations. Good luck! :)
