      Pros

      I was very hesitant to accept my offer at the ASPCA because I was leaving a great job behind, but have no regrets after being here 6 months. I LOVE OUR MISSION! And I am so inspired by the people I work with. It's amazing to see so many individuals working so hard for something I believe so deeply in. There are opportunities for staff in all roles and at all levels to directly support the mission by deploying with our FIR team or shadowing other teams in NY and DC.

      No cons yet. As a remote employee I'm still figuring out how to contribute to our mission in a meaningful way without travel.

      Pros

      I was given the opportunity to manage a good group of employees. I also had the ability to do some process improvement which I enjoy doing.

      Cons

      Too many of the employees have an entitlement mentality. Too many clicks within departments. People are not always promoted based on their ability and skill set but rather on who they know on the management team.
