      Pros

      ATCC employs over 400 employees and they are all kind and helpful. When I was new, everyone went out of their way to help me settle in and teach me the job.

      Cons

      Some cons of working at ATCC are no linear upward mobility; the only way to move up within the company is to hop between several departments, which is difficult without possessing degrees or qualifications in multiple content areas.

      location, work week, holidays, free coffee

      Cons

      There is no movement in Customer Service unless management decides to swap e'ees and then you do not get a choice to accept or decline. If more than one person requests leave at the same time, the second request is not approved regardless of reason - this is Customer Service policy. No objective measurements for performance reviews. Best you can hope for is 3 out of 5. No guidance or support to obtain better than avg review.

      Organization with great potential, held back by management.

      Pros

      Great mission - to support medical researchers, bio QC, etc. A lot of good, dedicated people that believe in the mission and in supporting customers.

      Cons

      Much turmoil with many reorganizations over the last few years -- one step forward, two steps back. Culture of keep your head down, CYA, and hope you don't get noticed. Led by the whim of the CEO, who is also COB.
