I work at ATCC Cell Systems in Gaithersburg. We are a cell biology focused product development business unit of the ATCC. We are given a lot of autonomy by our leadership, which allows us to work efficiently. We are working on interesting new products in several different areas and have the opportunity to propose new projects as well. We recently received access to CRISPR technology which is a great addition to our toolbox in product development. We also just moved to a new facility which gives us a lot of room for expansion
Cons
Sometimes it is difficult logistically when we need to work with people in Manassas due to the traffic, but we don't have to physically travel there more than once or twice a month and not all positions need to do so.
