Pros

When I first started at ATI I thought there was lots of room for advancement, good pay, benefits, pretty much a great place to work. During my four years at ATI they proved they are nothing like I thought. Things within the organization would happen that I thought was unprofessional. From work/life balance, they have no problem working you 60 hours a week as a salaried employee making it mandatory, to people being let go because they didn't play the "Good old boy" game.

Cons

Their false sense of stability. They make you think all is well in the communication meetings and then all of the sudden the bottom falls out.

Pros

ATI is a world leader in specialty metals, technologies and manufacturing and the only ones that know are our customers. The public needs to know we make some really cool stuff and this is an great place to work. We are in aerospace and defense particularly jet engines, oil & gas, electrical, medical, automotive and other industrial markets. I sit in Cudahy and the atmosphere is cool, the people are friendly, pay is great, benefits are great and 401 (K) is great. I left a great job with good pay with a local manufacturing company after 22 years to come here. That should tell you something about this company and our future. If you're looking for a new career come join our team of great people, you won't be disappointed.

Cons

The company doesn't care about there employees and they do not use our talents to benefit the company. The resented had a lockout for 11 months then threw us around to other locations making our travel times unreasonable. I drive 3 hours each way and make a third of what I did at my other plant
