Using old technology. The CMS was constantly down and it made it really difficult to get the job done.

Pros

I worked for AVISPL for 5+ years in the NY Metro area. Best thing I can say from my experience is that I worked with some really nice, intelligent, and talented people - unfortunately, not enough of them to compensate for the ineptitude, inexperience, irresponsibility and outright laziness of the majority.

Cons

All departments worked in a constant state of "red alert", caused by numerous factors, including lack of standardized procedures, incomplete documentation and poor document control, and insufficient resources. Salaries were generally below industry standards. There were no regularly scheduled performance reviews & salary increases were few and insufficient. On the other hand, due to the "red alert" environment, there was always plenty of overtime to be had, which was fine if you were an hourly employee.

Pros

Nothing to mention, Inadequate, Neglectful Management. , Shady, Unethical Organization.

Cons

Teamwork is non-existing. Management does not have any SOP in place to help assist and guide its employees, and help provide better support to Customers. Communication is horrible, those working from home are rarely available to provide support, off running personal errands. Poor work ethics, shady business practices, inadequate paid time off, overall benefits/compensation package leaves a lot to be desired. Management does not care about its Customers. It's about saying, doing whatever it takes, to get them to sign the contract. And the list goes on ..... Bottom line it's a poorly run organization and definitely not a good place to work and /or grow.
