Pros

Most people I work with are great and appreciate what I do.

Cons

The company takes advantage of you and they really don't care. They have taken so much away from us in the last 6 months and expect you to be ok it.

Pros

This is a job for people that like to help people with the basic needs of life... home furnishings and electronics.

Cons

This job has long hours and the pay is not as bad, although was much better before the price of home goods got overly competitive and the introduction of Amazon and the Internet brought down the costs of goods. Aaron's is still a great option for some consumers as they have no credit nor money to invest to gain the basic needs to furnish a home. Their no money nor credit needed is a great appeal to those customers. The downside is that not as much money is exchanged like the years prior. The days are numbered for this predatory company as the corporate team is no longer focused on profitability objectives that Ken Butler was able to deliver. The only reason that Aaron's still exists is simply due to the fact the company purchased Progressive. All of the profits Aaron's pulls down are a direct result of that purchase. The Aaron's stores would be among the ranks of Sears and Kmart without the Progressive addition.

Pros

There are none! No appreciation for hard workers who want long term employment.

Cons

Lack of General Managers skills. Bad customer service. Aaron"s doesn't want to invest in longterm employment . Prefers to use employees as scapegoats for lack of good training and doesn't hold General Managers accountable.
