Canadian Franchise Terribly Managed
Pros
Great staff at the time of employment. Very good regional manager as well, who would visit each store regularly and genuinely cared about each location and its staff.
Cons
Unfortunately, good management stops at regional. The franchise owners for the Canadian stores are shady. I witnessed a foreign employee hired on and then immediately dismissed on the date that government benefits to owners for having him expired. And there is no illusion here, customers are walking dollar signs and you are expected to take that money out of their pockets. Owners will kick out anyone who isn't buying if they're in the store. All sales jobs are like this, but most at least try to put in the effort to make their employees comfortable with what they do. And don't bet on job security with this company.
