I get to laugh every day while I am at work. Very supportive and positive atmosphere within our branch. Good Pay Scale and great benefits. Very good work life balance in the off season

Cons

Busy season can be very stressful with long hours. There is a disconnect between the roles that each person plays within the company.

Abell was a great place to start a career for me.

Pros

I had several friends who had worked at Abell, they thought it was a great place to work and got me a referral. Abell pays well, but more importantly it's a good growing company providing lot's of opportunities for those that want to get ahead. They call it the "Abell Family" they have lot's of company events, a rare thing these days. I had never thought of a career in pest control, but it's a great recession-proof industry, people always have pests.

Cons

People who work at Abell are pretty committed to the company and their customers. So you have to be pretty committed to fit in. But that's why it's a healthy company, so for most of us who work there we're pretty proud of that.

Excellent employer. Canadian family owned business, although a large company still maintains the family atmosphere. Company vehicle, competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

Cons

After hours work sometimes required.
