Pros

Competitive salary, good growth, excellent culture and fantastic technology. The potential growth is impressive. The management is good. The foundation of the company is quite good. The Sales organization is strong. You are welcomed and allowed to excel in your role. Abnormal gives you the runway and the opportunity to succeed. It's a real lead from all levels culture. It's that early 2000's feeling where the sky is the limit. Iconic is a real potential here.

Cons

Still working through some of the pain that comes with hyper-growth at a somewhat early stage company. Services are catching up as head count grows. There have been some extra hours for sure. Hiring and funding are quickly resolving these issues though.

- Keeping pace with extremely rapid growth can be a bit challenging at times. - Cyberattacks never stop evolving, and so our product and people must continually evolve as well. This requires lots of energy and attention, so you must be ready to step to the challenge. -

Pros

Life at Abnormal Security is fast-paced and super challenging; it's an awesome environment for anyone, at any stage in their career - so long as you're looking to make an outsized impact alongside extremely talented and caring teammates. Our focus on the bigger mission - combating cybercrime - brings us together and I always feel like my teammates and colleagues have my back.

Cons

The hyper-growth startup environment can be stressful, and Abnormal Security is not immune to the typical challenges early-stage, rapidly-growing, VC-backed companies face. New people and customers join the fray each week; processes are iterative and agile; and targets are bold. These pressures can be really intense at times and this is the crucible for organizational skills, judgement, prioritization, and communication skills are made.
