Pros

Very supportive, driven, and value-focused place to work. Teammates are very supportive during work hours and a lot of fun after hours. Lots of opportunities for career advancement within the company. Good benefits. Management at all levels seems to really care about both the employees and the customers.

Cons

"Data Analyst" job description can be misleading. I expected to be able to regularly use my data science training at work, but instead I usually do what amounts to glorified data entry all day. The only time I really get to use my data science training is during unpaid personal projects outside of work hours.

Amazing culture, ideas are always welcomed by anyone regardless of status. Management is easy to access and willing to listen/learn. Overall supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Cons

Workflows constantly changing due to Abnormal being a startup.

Contributions feel meaningful and taking ownership is encouraged. - Senior leadership is experienced, inspiring, and committed to employees' well-being. - Company is experiencing unprecedented and exceptional growth and success for a startup at this stage. - Engineering team is close-knit, and colleagues are encouraged to maintain a good balance. We've done events like trivia night, cooking classes, group bike trips, etc. - Commitment to diversity. Leadership team is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.

Cons

- Extremely fast paced. Typical growing pains from a startup at this stage. - Team is divided between SF/NY, so meetings may be difficult depending on where you are.
