Management lacks ability to actually manage. Endless changes in day-to-day operations. Constant new methods of doing the same thing over and over again with no beneficial change. Partners are there when they want to be, not when they need to be. There is usually a lack of consensus among the partners which trickles down to paralegals, attorneys, and law clerks as inconsistent directions. While the work load is intense, it is manageable, but not when office policies constantly are changing. Client's best interest is secondary to partners/firm's best interest. Pre-litigation attorneys are overburdened with metrics. Litigation attorneys are over worked and unappreciated.
