Good associate level camaraderie and they help when they can.

Cons

Management level employees are always on power trip. There shouldn’t be different rule on mfg shifts. It shouldn’t be A and B it’s MFG, whatever rules and guidelines put in place for MFG should be implemented for both shifts. For supervisors stop making excuses not to head on the floor and STOP telling your associate because the “head of mfg says so”, there is a fine line between you lying to not work or your just straight up not caring about helping the team. Stop changing the work hours “CDMO sets the rhythm/tunes for the client” STOP MAKING RUSH MOVES in order to please the client. Want to be the best “MAKE A BETTER PLAN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE” don’t over promise.

Pros

-We acquire a lot technical knowledge and expertise in a rewarding area of ADC development. -There are some genuine people who care about the company and their work. -Free parking, bathroom access, and a functional microwave.

Cons

-Abzena is struggling financially and senior leadership is constantly restructuring and eliminating other departments. There is a general sense of uncertainty for the future or if we are being prepared for sale. -Promotions are not always based upon merit, but whether you’ve survived the attrition of this forsaken place and there is an available position. -Some of the researchers lack basic technical or critical thinking skills. I would not feel comfortable with some of them supervising a college lab course. -The turnover is high either from burn out, dealing with incompetent colleagues, and/or senior leadership not listening to their feedback. Then when colleagues leave, their work is immediately passed to those that remain without adequate support. -Absolutely everything is rushed without adequate planning. Stress is rampant among colleagues. -Many of the observed holidays are not recognized, and there isn’t a Holiday shutdown at the end of December.
