Pros

- Comprehensive training includes client management techniques, back-end E-Commerce platform training (Magento and Acadaca's proprietary platform), E-commerce marketing techniques, and E-Commerce website building from design phase to launch (includes HTML, Q.A., Development, and Beta phases.) - Great relationship between Project Managers, Senior Management, Development teams (PHP and Java), Operations, and System Administrators. - Management committed to employee success - Enjoyable work life balance; Employees like to spend time together outside of the office towards the end of the week - Strong benefit program/client perks - Location near lunch and other restaurants, shopping, and subways/PATH

Cons

Nothing to complain about in my first year of employment here!

Pros

Great location: close to Washington Square Park. No micro management all you have to do is turn in excel sheets and talk to clients on the phone. Gives you strong job title which means little to nothing both internally and externally--when you explain company functions.

Cons

No upward mobility; don't count on getting paid very well even after promotions. Besides data-entry and QA testing (clicking around a website to find bugs), nothing you will learn at this company will help you in future careers. Terrible leadership Work environment has strong startup vibe Due to non-disclosure agreement I will not state; but it doesn't feel like you're working for an honest company Does not feel like you're working for self-gain or for a company purpose but feels like you're working for the CEO's best interests and his success. No possibility of great financial success at this company Forced to work about half an hour short of 10 hours a day for minimal pay

Pros

Learn a lot, do years of work compacted into short time frames. Exposure to many different useful skill sets: time management, client interaction, managing client expectations, hitting deadlines, project plans, testing web sites, learning how integrations work etc.

Cons

Do years of work compacted into short time frames. High stress, management bites off more than they can chew. Often puts entry level staff in a position to fail, blames employees for management's inability to think big picture and scale technology assets. Severely underpaid, very long hours for minimal return. Scarce opportunities for advancement.
