Pros
The office is abound with software engineers, scientists, and some all-around great people to work with. After about a year of full-time employment, I decided that I needed to take some time off and spend more time at home, but I was sad to leave a job where I get to interact with many brilliant and highly experienced folks. Luckily, Management supported my decision and offered me the ability to work part-time!
Cons
If you don't come from a laboratory or computer science background, the first few weeks may be intimidating. Luckily the entire team seems to understand what it's like for a rookie, and provides pretty stellar training.
