starting pay is minimum wage, which does not help when you have to travel several miles every day to work & back.

Very Bad Experience Working in Accounting Group

*Offices are pretty nice with new computers/office equipment *Free sodas and water *Often get catered lunches leftover from meetings or trainings

Cons

*Work/life balance is awful, at least in corp accounting and finance - constant fire drills, late nights and weekend work are the norm *Benefits are shabby, and cost of health care coverage is way too high *No raises *Constant changes in direction/strategy with no improvement to business results; not a lot of faith in management Start-up environment without any of the perks. Lots of work to do and room for improvement, but company is unwilling or unable to commit resources needed to properly execute. Wouldn't recommend working here.

Awful! At least Texas Home Health is!

Pros

Lots of smokers, if you're one - one of the few health companies I know of with lots of smokers, especially in management and training

Cons

Horrible computer system, abuse salaried workers who have to take work home nights and weekends to handle the heavy work load, poor training for nurses (sent out a new nurse to admit a patient with a wound vac who had no training or experience with it). EXTREME high stress, lack of proper training, unhappy employees, and HIGH turnover. I was entitled to severance pay but HR ignored that - no response whatsoever.
