Pros

Flexibility of time and money.

Cons

Biggest con is MD Ramesh Narasimhan who always throws a fake smile at employees and take them for granted. Also if you are a tamilian, that is more than enough for him. And it is ok if the employee is of no use to that project cause he brings BILLING n there are lot of people sitting in the management who are of no use. There is no encouragement for the employees to work on latest Tech's and in fact they have large projects where people are working in very old technologies. They won't address any problems brought to them if those complaints are on people they like. There is no respect given to employee once they come out of project or if there are couple of escalations. Client is God and employee is a just a tool to earn money, no respect. HR's are very good but there hands are tied to take any decisions. No matter will be taken to HR's by the managers. There is lot of partiality shown by the managers. Lot of micro management and they might also ask you to fill your day to day work in lot of platforms like day to day Excel sheet, weekly Excel sheet, and Jira and also in emails.

Accion Labs Response

Dear Employee, We are sorry you feel this way. Just a few points to clarify. - A sincere advice to you is, as a professional it is not appropriate to make personal remarks on anyone in a public forum. - Linguistic allegation: As you would know we are unbiased on ethnicity, language, gender, etc., and sincerely promote this as a value. - Latest Tech: We as a company focus on emerging technologies – as you would be aware of Accion Innovation Center, Technology of the month, various latest technology trainings, meetups and Accathons – where we promote and train all our employees on latest technologies – Most of our employees have been a part of this and are always excited about this. - Projects running on older tech: As you know we don’t work on any legacy technologies, but the versions of the technology on various projects may be dated, as this is the decision of the customer, and we constantly promote upgrading customer tools and technologies too. But this purely depends on customer’s preference, roadmap and available budget. There is very little any partner can do about it. - As a growing high-tech company, we believe a lot on talent, proficiency, skills and interest in technology, we would not want to compromise on poor performance / attitude / skills; and we treat customer escalations seriously and of course give chances to our employees & put them in PIP or move to other projects once released from their current projects. - As a culture we treat employees and customers equally, when it comes to listening to our employees, and we try sincerely to solve the issues which are under the organizations control – of course we can’t fix the customer’s technology choice, poor performance, customer escalations etc. - We see you have successfully completed 5 happy years in Accion, and something went wrong towards the end of tenure, which is unfortunate, but your stay of 5 years speaks volume about your satisfaction with us. It’s unfortunate that you had a few escalations in your project, had to be micromanaged and had to come to bench – as you know we would not have terminated you even on all these grounds, we always are very fair to our employees. We wish you all the best, hope you are happy with your current organization, MD, Managers and the HR. Thanks, Senior Manager - HR
