Not a lot of positive things to say about Accuray. Actually none.

Cons

Small minded, unable to hire top notch talent, HR is extremely unprofessional. Really one of the most unprofessional group of people I've ever had the misfortune of working with. No chance for advancement at all - a complete dead-end.

Great technology to improve patients' lives. Best in the business.

Cons

Senior management is more willing to hire external incompetent people that do not have a track record rather than from their own internal team. After two years of evidence, extreme low team morale, and deteriorating quality of work due to "new and improved processes" by the aforementioned incompetent person (who was also very discriminating), I finally left without another job lined up. Senior management does not care about the happiness/morale of people under them. If they did, they would've done something about it.

Pros

Nice, competent people working hard to get things done. Not a lot of drama. (Adults work here.) Good technology. Good pay, benefits, infrastructure. Opportunities for flexibility, reasonable hours and advancement if you’re good at what you do and are productive and collaborative.

Cons

Niche and specialty products in competitive market creates a lot of financial pressure in a public company. Impacts projects, people and priorities which sometimes change erratically. Upper management is a little distant. Industry is technical and business is complex, worldwide.
