Let’s start with “plenty of hours” and “good benefits,” and now “decent wages,” follow with “sharp image,” and end with a “nice start” for anyone who wants to join our team. We could use this as an ad banner for recruitment. But every company is forced to face a time when potential is left unfulfilled. Typically, for an employee who is performing below expectations the remedy is always to review processes, re-visit training plans, and provide revised guidance to avoid similar problems in the future. In almost every circumstance, this formula works for both the employee and the team. However, we do experience situations where an ultimately positive outcome is not achieved. No blame – just a reality in any business.
We expect a great deal from ourselves and the team. The very beginning of this response is confirmation that we offer tremendous rewards and opportunities for every member of Acero Precision. This is possible because our Founder is also our CEO and President. Forty years strong as a company and still flourishing as a state-of-the-art American Manufacturing facility. This no small achievement in 2023. We are able to maintain this level of excellence because of leadership, strong processes, a trained and engaged workforce, accountability, and clear vision for the future.
We all realize that the new marketplace is filled with new challenges for both the employer and the employee. Referenced in this review is the issue of turnover. A review of the most recent case studies shows that the turnover rate for American Manufacturing in 2022 was 39%. Our numbers are not even close to that type of turnover. Add to that statistic the fact that 50 million Americans quit their jobs in 2022 we can see that this is not an isolated occurrence.
Our CEO along with Acero’s Leadership Team is dedicated to the customers we serve and the employees that get the job done. It is not our “culture” to intentionally “belittle” or embarrass an employee. This disappointing remark is intended to damage the reputation of an individual who provided an opportunity for success.
