Pros

PTO, 2 week holiday break.

Cons

There is no HR department. On the network support side, they don’t promote hard working people. Teams create positions and you must “interview” for the position - this is how you get promoted. However, it seems that selected teams get to do this approach. The leadership team prefers to hire consultants, which means they rather pay someone outside the organization more, instead of raising the salary for their current employee, that most likely can or is already doing the work. The organization has grown over the past 5 years, yet they don’t invest in hiring more staff. The current staff is overworked and not appreciated.

Pros

The kids are smart and well behaved.

Cons

You will be heavily micromanaged and the onboarding process is extremely extensive. I spent my second year teaching at this company and I hated every minute of it. There are weekly meetings that are unnecessary and a waste of time.
