Pros

You will grow a tremendous amount while working at Achievement First. Both professionally and personally. You will be challenged to be your best self at all times. You will create lifelong relationships with students and families. Your will create close bonds with those you work with.

Cons

There are many hours of work required to be truly great at this job. In your first year (and sometimes beyond) you will need to take work home and dedicate time on the weekends to ensure you are making deadlines and providing top quality work for kids. With that, work/life balance doesn't come naturally - it is possible, but you have to work for it. You will receive a ton of feedback (which will help you grow) but also can feel challenging/overwhelming at times. There will be things that are out of your control that you just have to roll with (rationale is always provided though.)
