      Working for AF makes this tough work manageable

      Pros

      Mission-driven organization with all of the right values; the amount of coaching and feedback that you receive as a new teacher is phenomenal

      Cons

      Not all AF schools are performing at high levels and I feel fortunate to work at a school with very strong staff culture because this is NOT the case everywhere

      Coming from a smaller charter network it has been a complete difference in the level of coaching and support from supervisors and directors. They really do listen to your desires for growth and help to make goals in reaching them

      Cons

      Lesson resources could be more aligned to the what teachers are being evaluated on.
