Pros

People and Training are the number one benefits here. Acosta Values employees. If you care about your job, they care about you.. simple as that. And if you struggle at times due to any difficulty whether personal or professional, someone even at higher management levels is always willing and open to talk and offer help or guidance as needed.

Cons

The Hybrid work week is not enthusiastically embraced, even by management who seem to almost try too hard to make people realize how good it is. If you are outgoing and like people and talking about th3 business, then get in the office and do it, however most people in behind the scenes jobs are just too busy or focused on the task at hand to really enjoy or appreciate having a wealth of knowledge around them every day. This can also be said for online Teams and group meetings or discussions. Collaboration and networking is very key and the pulse of the business depends on it. I see more of that happening through teams since then ypu are working or talking with the people or groups you are aligned with.

Pros

Ability to travel to different stores Trainings you can put in your toolbox & will benefit you down the road such as Neilson device trainings, Clobotics, Pensa) Potential to earn bonuses especially during holiday or peak seasons Mileage pay Benefits for both PT/FT employees that are reasonable If you relocate (and there is an opening in your new area) the job is portable Issued a company device (its limited for company service order use only & you can’t call or message) so you don’t have to use your own phone Decent wage to start (but you have to ask) You have some degree of autonomy with your schedule Stable international company

Cons

You are not paid by the hour but instead paid by the service order. It isn’t a position where, when you begin your day you get $15 per hour until you finish your day). There is a lot of micromanagement and not enough training - I really think that after working alone for a few weeks there should be an availability to have a Q & A session with a seasoned coworker or management etc. I once worked for a company that had the best training I have ever received and then once that was done they had this help forum setup in Teams where you could ask a fellow employee questions you need answers to on the fly or if something came up they could guide or give advice. This would work perfect in this company.
