Pros

Push you out of your comfort zone Gain time management and organizational skills Gain interpersonal communication skills Gain sales and marketing experience

Cons

Terrible pay structure and commissions structure Terrible management, they change your work schedule last minute and will send you all over locations in North Carolina, and don’t pay for your gas Terrible leadership and networking opportunities No work life balance, you only have one day off The meetings every day are bland and robotic Even if you work extremely hard they pick favorites when it comes to promotions

Dear Reviewer, We are glad to know you were able to gain time management and organizational skills while employed at Acquire. Due to our clientele and the team, we do ask our team to be flexible to any changes made when it comes to scheduling. We do our best to over communicate any changes and often compensate these adjustments with bonuses or incentives. Our promotions to leadership are based solely on merit and leadership qualifications. This is why we have seen success and growth because those individuals are willing to work harder to meet their goals! Our three-round in-depth interview process covers our clients, the schedule, payment structure, opportunity, etc. During the mandatory new employee orientation and onboarding process, the schedule and clients are discussed in-depth. However, we will take into consideration your feedback! -Acquire HR Department

Pros

This is a great place to start off a professional sales career. 100% merit based growth structure, and the company culture (one of the main selling points from the company's POV) is indeed amazing for young professionals. The management is top notch and will help you beyond day to day tasks - extending to active advocacy for growth inside and outside the company by simply asking for it. You will gain sales insights through repetition. The job itself is simple. Quick learners will thrive here. The hours are manageable day to day. Everyone that steps in the door will be met with nothing but positivity and encouragement. The company and its affiliates are expanding very quickly. Extensive opportunities for travel and networking. To boil it down, you will get out of this job a direct proportion of what you put in very quickly and it is a great place to gain sweat equity in your professional development of sales, team building/management skills and beyond if you so choose.

Cons

You WILL be selling AT&T phones and data plans in a Sams Club or BJ's (as of the date of my leaving the company) 6 days out of the week. After about 2 months, it becomes rare to see a new customer in these stores on weekdays. The interview process WILL fail to mention this unless you ask multiple times. I know that's not what the company is about, but I do not think it is short sighted to put this up front. As a result, the turnover here is roughly 50-75% for new hires week over week. (50-75% of the people you were hired with will not be there the following week). The pay structure is unfortunate. Yes it is uncapped commission... but you must break the base pay (approx. $400/wk for full time) to see your commission, and it is not paid on top of your base but instead of it. A good rep will average $600-$800/wk - top reps average $1000-$1500 You will be traveling around central NC daily to staff these retailers from Raleigh to Fayetteville to Goldsboro, etc. with 0 reimbursement for gas / depreciation.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review and feedback about your experience. We agree, there is a significant earning potential with our company as well as growth opportunities! We do value our team here and the positive culture we cultivate through team events, community involvement opportunities, and networking conferences! We prefer candidates who have less sales experience because their work ethic is not as sales-driven and easier to look beyond the sales. We view sales as an easy aspect of our training program whereas leadership skills are more valuable to be successful within our business! Additionally, our three-round in-depth interview process covers our clients, the schedule, payment structure, opportunity, etc. During the mandatory new employee orientation and onboarding process, the schedule and clients are discussed in-depth. However, we will take into consideration your feedback! -Acquire HR Department

Pyramid Scheme

Pros

You get to meet and work with a lot of cool people. Pushes you outside your comfort zone.

Cons

They are not clear about what the job is literally until your first day. The company is set up exactly like a pyramid scheme. You will be the person in Costco selling Direct TV. They won't tell you that, but I will. Also the way "commission" works does not benefit you unless you are crazy good at sales.
