Recruiters can be distant after you hire on . They don't know enough about the roles they hire you for. Most of the companies they hire for are usually in a hire freeze internally so don't expect to be converted to full time quickly.

I was assigned a representative who is friendly and offered to meet once a quarter for check ins. However, the rep is mostly there for HR purposes.

Cons

Benefits are minimal and so are the pay increases compared to inflation.
