The work place culture is not as it’s presented. They create a sales pitch to bring you on the team, they do friendly competitions within the company and keep things fun. ABC cares more about the way they look to others rather than the services they provide to both their patients and their staff. Coming into their Behavior Analyst in Training (BAT) Program, there was zero learning opportunity. In my time at ABC, I did not learn anything to support future growth as a BCBA. The company had broken signed contracts and did not provide plausible valid reasoning. Staff members were not supported and common basic principal practices were not taught to ensure success for both the RBT and the patient. The bully culture of RBT’s is supported and both the center managers, clinical directors and HR has managed to cover up the bully mentality. Staff members are bullied by the RBT’s as well as the patient’s. When I put in my notice, they asked me to sign a NDA to protect any course of action on my part. This company unfortunately is aware of the wrong doing and instead chooses to mask the problems rather than repair.
