      Pros

      My story is that I hold a background in Economics/Finance through previous internships & when I graduated, I wanted to find a career where I could learn & apply analytics geared towards a meaningful mission. Alternating between the choices of Corporate Finance & Healthcare Finance, I chose to dive into Healthcare Finance as it aligned with my goals. I came in cold not knowing much about the Healthcare field, but after spending time & pouring intentionality into the job, I've gained new knowledge! Learning about the intricacies of the interactions between Healthcare Providers & Insurance Companies, the methodology of Healthcare Services paired along with Service Charges, and learning the capabilities of Reporting Analytics in this setting are the most important skills garnered. (As a side note, the company is open to all majors & one does not have to had majored in Finance. In the most non-cliche manner, if you're intentional, you'll learn!!)

      Cons

      Austin is a developing city that grows exponentially on a daily basis; this translates to increasing amounts of traffic. There are multiple offices/locations where Action Behavior Centers operates, but the Revenue Cycle Management Team is centered in the South Austin Area. Commutes can be a struggle.

      Absolute best ABA company out there

      Pros

      All of the staff is really knowledgeable, collaborative, and kind. I've worked at multiple locations with ABC, and this is consistent across the board. The pay is better, the benefits are better, and the treatment of employees is better than other ABA clinics I've worked at in the past.
