Pros

ability to work from home friendly bosses help when you need it it is a great company and its not a sweat shop the ability to get bonuses 4 times a year

Cons

MINIUM WAGE??? Thats starting pay and I haven't heard when raises happen Seasonal, its hard to look for another job when the company (ACTIVE) is a great company but nobody can live off minium wage anymore and most people need job security. They should have More Full Time positions and there is no room for advancement.

Pros

Not a bad place to work, pay is decent and the benefits are good.

Cons

If The Active Network would just leave companies alone that they keep buying up and letting them run their offices pretty much the same before an acquisiton things would be so much better. They are really destroying the hunt and fish side of the company that they acquired. The pay isn't really as competitive in the market for what we do; especially when all the companies that they now own and we are making them the most money. It just appears to me that our side of the company would be rewarded more for a job well done. Better communication could be in order such as actually posting job promotions instead of just handing them over to someone without even so much as a posting anywhere.

Pros

Allows 4some flexibility/balance 4personal/professional life. Lots of team building exercises-group games, nights "away from your family" outtings, trips 2local watering hole....almost feels like the good ol' boy network or your long lost frat bros. If you need to take a break then Active is it but be prepared to embelish on the resume when you reenter the workforce. Active can be a place of longevity if you make it to the 5 year mark however getting there could be trying. If you know how to work the system this is the company for you!

Cons

You or the customer will get lost in company's newly implemented process/procedures. Active suffers from "not my job" syndrome. Active is a company that gobbles up other companies and then discards one by one those assets it aquired and be prepared if you are one of those employees because it will happen to you. You will rarely receive a higher than a 3.0 and if you are not related to someone with the company you will never land one of those big fishes...those big deals are reserved for people who are in the know...bit of an incenstuous comapny.
