Pros

The company offers a lot of flexibility in terms of hours and time off.

Cons

Acuity has acquired many companies over the years and frequently experiences restructures. It feels that the company's first priority is not to develop and distribute the best products possible.

Pros

Acuity offers a diverse and innovative portfolio—spanning lighting, controls, building management systems, cloud solutions, and A/V—which makes every day engaging and full of growth potential. The company has excellent relationships with its agency channel, inter-company partners, and the technical sales team is generally strong. Product leadership is notably data-driven and business-focused, which supports smart, market-shaping decisions.

Cons

There can be long delays in addressing underperforming people leaders, particularly those promoted without adequate leadership experience. Pay disparities occasionally emerge between long-term, high-performing employees and new hires. Additionally, while many leaders are effective at driving business outcomes, fewer are equipped to support and grow their teams effectively.
