Extremely hostile work environment

Pros

The company is willing to spend the money to train employees.

Cons

This was the most hostile work environment I have ever worked in. Common mistakes were treated with a very harsh "talking to" typically in a public setting. This type of harshness results in employees not wanting to do anything (or at least the minimum) to prevent upper management from questioning the decisions made.

Pros

If you have talent and ambition, you can progress quickly within the business. If you are reliable, your work hours are flexible and working remotely is an option. The employees are talented and a fun group overall. Training is encouraged.

Cons

Management appears to be reluctant to fire poor performers / bad seeds for whatever reasons. Work is not always evenly distributed to teams. Owner of the company does not have an IT background but feels entitled to give direction.
