Smart people, good product and a good WLB.

Leadership Is Confusing and the Politics Are Exhausting

Pros

There are a lot of really smart, kind people at the individual contributor level. You can learn a lot quickly, especially if you're proactive. Some teams are genuinely collaborative and supportive.

Cons

Leadership is really confusing. It often feels like the CFO and CRO are the ones actually running the company, not the CEO. There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes decision-making, and it doesn’t always feel like people are on the same page—or even working toward the same goals. Communication is poor, and things change suddenly without much explanation. There’s a surprising amount of politics and backchanneling for a company this size. It can feel like you’re constantly navigating landmines. It’s hard to know who to trust, and that makes it tough to feel secure or optimistic about growth.

Toxic environment. Avoid if possible

Pros

Great benefits, comp, and flexibility with remote work. Good coworkers outside of leadership.

Cons

Inexperienced leadership has lead to chaotic projects and stagnant products. Leadership pushes the blame on product leads (PM, dev, design) and replaces them. I saw this cycle repeat multiple times. Lack of listening to employees has lead to popularity and ego contests among leadership. Those who don't like this culture have left, or haven't realized it yet. These cons outweigh the pros.
