Joke of a company

Pros

The company does have a sparse amount of decent jobs for direct hires and contractors.

Cons

This is not a serious company. For low paying one to two-month temp positions, they make you jump through a bunch of hoops, like interviews, background checks, and reference checks. After you jump through hoops they string you along for weeks and then tell you the contract has been canceled. These people are a pathetic joke. I would only recommend this joke of a company if they are the only option available to you and you are extremely desperate.

Pros

Weekly Payments, really there are no other pros

Cons

Unable to reach employer after starting on client project. Poor email communication. Lack of interest in employee welfare. Promised benefits and negotiated hourly rate. Made to wait 90 days for benefits. Fell sick with flu during waiting period. UNABLE TO REACH ANYONE for help in communicating with employer after 5 days missed work. No expressed empathy by Addison Group or desire to help. Benefits denied after 90 days for questionable reasons (I was hired just before Thanksgiving and apparently did not meet some elusive requirement for minimum monthly billing November-December-January). I was not informed until end of February that I would not be eligible after enquiring unanswered several times. Was weirdly isolated by client upon return, and ultimately fired. Never heard a single word from Addison in this regard. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS FIRM. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PROJECT RESOURCES AND HOW THEY’RE TREATED/SUPPORTED BY THE AGENCY.

Pros

Easy to get into right after graduation. You can "grow" your commission quickly if you are in the right office.

Cons

Executive leadership has claims of no micromanagement but that depends on how lucky you get with a direct boss, and svp. Promote leaders based on productivity alone- not everyone who produces should be a leader. Comp structures are not comparable to other sales jobs. A lot for a little reward. You can only "grow" if you want to relocate, other than that you really can only become a "Senior" at whatever your title is. Benefits are horrible- super high deductible
